Originally from Gore, Jenny Mitchell is a multi-award winning songwriter with songs wrapped in wisdom and wit. Her new album, Tug of War, is a deep and emotional dive for both the artist and the listener.

With songs inspired by new love, change, loss and her discovery of Lucille Ball, audiences can expect a warm journey of storytelling - coloured by renditions of the songs that filled Jenny’s childhood home Just as her songs speak to the family ties that bind, so too do members of her band, with her twin sisters, Maegan and Nicola Mitchell, joining her to reinforce the old adage – there’re no harmonies like sibling harmonies.

With a sound that No Depression describes as, “poetry that dominates a beautiful melody,” Jenny Mitchell is comfortable with a country twang or softly spoken ballad and is rapidly capturing fans across the globe.

An artist who knows exactly who she is and feels no need to give way. — Stuff
