Festival events take place at a variety of venues across the district. Please see below for venue locations and directions.
89 Ardmore Street, Wānaka
Lake Wānaka Centre is nestled in the heart of our picturesque township and is a key festival location for our major events. Built from natural timbers and locally stacked stone, and set within landscaped grounds along the clear waters of Bullock Creek, the original community venue embraces its idyllic surroundings. It is in close proximity to a number of hotels, restaurants and retail outlets.

The jewel of our festival, the Crystal Palace Spiegeltent serves as a unique and atmospheric venue for our equally authentic performances. Enjoy this incredible temporary venue while it lasts!
17 Gordon Rd, Wānaka
A working production facility brewing with space for its tasting room, this sunny spot in the backblocks of Wānaka provides a cosy venue for special festival events.
The macrocarpa interior, old armchairs, and custom graffiti artwork (imagine a psychedelic, fear, and loathing-esque mural) bring ambiance and colour to this fully operational brew house.
28 Myra St, Lake Hāwea
The Lake Hāwea Community Centre exists to enrich the social, sporting and cultural lives of local people of all ages. It is the hub for all community activities within the growing Hāwea township. The Centre is located on Myra Street close to all Lake Hāwea amenities. The Lake Hāwea Community Centre is owned by the local community and was established in 2013. We are thrilled to be programming more festival events in Hāwea for 2025!
Cnr Kane Rd & Camp Hill Rd, Hāwea Flat
The Hāwea Flat hall is another festival venue mainstay offering a special rural community hall charm for our fabulous performers and audiences alike.
